Service Delivery & Course Access Policy

SMS Training Academy primarily delivers professional training and certification services, not physical retail goods. This Policy explains when and how access to your enrolled course or session is provided, rather than a physical shipping timeline that would not accurately describe our services.

1. Overview

"Delivery," for SMS Training Academy, means the point at which you are able to begin using the training service you enrolled in — either logging into a self-paced eLearning course, or attending a scheduled instructor-led session. This Policy sets out what to expect for each delivery format.

2. Self-Paced eLearning

  • Access timing: Course access is granted once your enrolment is confirmed — immediately for free courses, and once payment is verified (online payment validated, or a manual payment submission is approved) for paid courses.
  • Login & access instructions: Your learner account credentials and a link to the course are provided by email; logged-in participants can also reach their courses directly from "My Dashboard."
  • Course validity: Each course specifies its own access period (shown on the course page and enrolment confirmation) — typically measured in days from the date access is unlocked.
  • Certificate eligibility: A certificate becomes available once the course's completion requirements (progress and, where applicable, assessment requirements) are met — see the course page for specifics.

3. Instructor-Led & Virtual Training

  • Delivery date: The delivery date is the published or confirmed session date shown at the time of registration.
  • Venue / online meeting details: Venue details (in-person) or a secure meeting link (virtual) are sent to registered participants before the session.
  • Postponement & rescheduling: If a session is postponed or rescheduled, registered participants are notified and offered the options described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Physical Materials

The standard physical-delivery timelines sometimes associated with retail merchant checklists are not applicable to our purely digital courses or scheduled training services, since SMS Training Academy does not sell or ship physical retail products.

Where a specific programme genuinely includes a physical item (for example, a printed certificate, course workbook, or branded material), the following applies unless stated otherwise on that programme's page:

  • Within Dhaka: dispatched within 5 working days of the item being ready;
  • Outside Dhaka: dispatched within 10 working days of the item being ready;
  • Subject to address accuracy and courier availability — SMS is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address details or courier disruptions outside our control.

5. Access Delays & Support

If you believe your access has not been granted within the expected timeframe for your enrolment type, please contact our support team — see Section 6 below — with your enrolment ID and payment reference so we can investigate promptly.
